30. A group comprised of 14 nuns who clandestinely recorded songs on audiotape praising their homeland and the Dalai Lama in 1993. Their songs were smuggled out of Tibet and became the symbols of the spirit of Tibetan political prisoners languishing in various prisons across the plateau.
